Indian Food Cartel (“IFC”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and our WhatsApp ordering experience for our brands (including Biryani Ji and Yo Chang), why we collect it, how we use and safeguard it, and the rights you have. By using our website or placing an order with us, you consent to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

  • Enquiry details — information you submit through our franchise, investor, careers or contact forms.
  • Technical information collected automatically — device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and similar analytics data gathered through cookies.

3. How we use your information

We use your personal data to:

  • Respond to and manage your enquiries.
  • Confirm, prepare, fulfil and deliver your orders, and coordinate delivery and payment on delivery.
  • Send you order updates and respond to support or feedback requests.
  • Operate, maintain and improve our website, menu and services.
  • Send offers or updates where you have consented to receive them (you can opt out anytime).
  • Detect and prevent fraud, and comply with our legal obligations.

4. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand traffic and improve the experience. These may set identifiers on your device. You can disable or delete cookies through your browser settings; some features may then not work as intended.

5. Payment information

We do not accept online card or gateway payments on this website. Orders are placed via WhatsApp and paid on delivery (cash or UPI). We do not collect or store your card or bank details.

6. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only as needed to run our service:

  • With delivery personnel and logistics partners, to deliver your order.
  • With trusted service providers who help us operate (for example website hosting, form processing via Google, and analytics), under confidentiality obligations.
  • With third-party ordering platforms (such as Swiggy or Zomato) if you choose to order through them, in which case their privacy policies also apply.
  • With authorities or other parties where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety and property.

7. Data retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above or as required by applicable law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Data security

We follow reasonable security practices and procedures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights
