Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 1 July 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and any order you place with Indian Food Cartel (“IFC”, “we”, “us”) or its brands, including Biryani Ji and Yo Chang. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or order from us.
1. About us and these terms
This website is operated by Indian Food Cartel, a multi-brand cloud-kitchen company with its registered office at Shop 1, Floor 3, Shiv Kripa Complex, Shakti Enclave, GMS Road, Dehradun, Uttarakhand (FSSAI Licence No. 22626030001360). These Terms form a binding agreement between you and IFC.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract to order from us or use this website.
3. Use of the website
You may use this website for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only — to learn about IFC and its brands and to place orders. You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, scraping or copying content, introducing malicious code, or infringing our or others’ rights.
4. How orders are placed and confirmed
Menu selections are added to a WhatsApp cart and sent to us as an order request. An order becomes confirmed only when we acknowledge it on WhatsApp. We may decline or cancel an order — for example where an item is unavailable, your location is outside our delivery area, we suspect fraud or misuse, or a price or listing error has occurred.
5. Menu, pricing and availability
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Menus, prices and item availability may change at any time without notice. Product images are for illustration and actual items may vary. In case of an obvious pricing or description error, we are not obliged to honour it and will inform you before proceeding.
6. Payment
Unless we agree otherwise, payment is made on delivery by cash or UPI. We do not collect online payments through this website.
7. Delivery, cancellations and refunds
Delivery, cancellations, refunds and replacements are governed by our Shipping & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Food safety and allergens
Our food is freshly prepared in shared kitchens that handle a range of ingredients, including common allergens such as dairy, nuts, gluten and soy. If you have an allergy or dietary requirement, please tell us before ordering. Perishable food should be consumed promptly after delivery.
9. Intellectual property
All brand names, logos, trademarks, text, images and other content on this website are the property of Indian Food Cartel or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without our prior written permission.
10. User-submitted content
If you submit reviews, feedback or other content to us, you grant IFC a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, display and share it in connection with our business. You are responsible for ensuring your content is lawful and not misleading.
11. Franchise, investor and career information
Information about franchise, investment or career opportunities on this website is provided for general information only and does not constitute an offer, guarantee or commitment. Any such relationship is subject to a separate agreement.
12. Third-party platforms
If you order our food through third-party platforms such as Swiggy or Zomato, those orders are also subject to the respective platform’s terms and policies.
13. Disclaimers
This website and our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that content is always accurate or complete.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IFC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or our services. Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount payable for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold IFC harmless from any claim or demand arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the website.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Dehradun, Uttarakhand shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to applicable consumer-protection laws that may allow you to approach forums at your location.
17. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with a revised “Last updated” date, and continued use of the website means you accept the updated Terms.
